I received the following message today from a friend and it really made me think...
"Women are like the apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones, because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead they get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them when in reality they are amazing! They have to wait for the right guy to come along. The one who is brave enough to climb to the top of the tree!"
What do you think? I think this is very true. It makes me sad, because who has the time, energy, or patience to wait forever, but it is pretty true.
I've heard this before and definetely agree, but like you said, it's saddening.

I definitely agree with this! It is very sad because it is true. I know many women who are damn near perfect and great catches. Instead of having guys flock over them, they sit waiting for someone who is man enough to "reach" for them. It bugs me because then my friends really beat themselves down. I hate to watch that.
